Comfort Suites Channelview - Houston East

My daughter and I stayed here for one night. We were not thrilled with the smell, humidity/heat inside, the ants, trash in the hallways, broken ice machine/printer/TV, nasty carpet, etc., but we dealt with it. However, my daughter left her VERY important, large stuffy in the room and when I returned to get it from lost and found they didn’t have it. I came back and requested to look at the lobby and hallway footage with the manager, which did prove that we didn’t leave with the large stuffy, which was too big to fit in her bag, and it was 100% left in the room. I stayed at this hotel for a week and a half, and it was a very disappointing experience. The elevator was broken the entire time, and we were placed on the 4th floor. Traveling up and down the stairs multiple times a day with four children was extremely difficult and inconvenient. Housekeeping was also an issue. Our room was not cleaned unless we repeatedly asked, and even then, it felt like we were bothering the staff. When I requested clean sheets and towels, staff seemed annoyed. On one occasion, the bed appeared to be made up with the same sheets instead of being changed. For the price paid, the service and overall experience were unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here. Save your money and look elsewhere.

If i could do a 0 star i would they attitude suck!!During my stay from February 14–16, 2026 at Comfort Suites in Channelview, TX, I experienced serious sanitation and safety issues. In my initially assigned room, I discovered visible semen on the bed sheets, indicating linens were not properly changed between guests. Both rooms showed visible mildew and moisture damage in the shower areas. The elevator was not functioning while I was assigned to the 4th floor. After being moved to a second room, I was not provided a key and the door did not lock at all, creating a significant security risk. Due to these unsanitary and unsafe conditions,do not go here!! They dont refund and make sure you good

The staff was nice, but it didn't seem as though they did much work in maintaining the property. The surrounding area feels unsafe, and the gate around the property did not close. The lobby did not have AC. The rooms were not properly cleaned or secure. There was no breakfast provided. This Comfort Suites was not very comfortable. Don't spend your money here. I have stayed at cheap truck stop motels that were maintained better than this place. I actually checked out a day early to avoid staying another night. The pictures are deceptive.

The front desk lady was great, the hotel itself was awful. Dirty, smelled like skunk, 2 towels in a 2 bed room for 4 people. No toiletries, NO BREAKFAST, even though it is advertised on their website, and nothing for sale in their "hotel store" it was completely empty. AC didnt cool in the room either. It was hot
