Holiday Inn Fargo by IHG

I normally don’t post reviews. I would give it a 0. Room was tiny and bathroom was close to the size of a handicap porta potty. Once you get past the main entrance it gave the vibes of a seedy pay by the hour motel. Hot tub fit maybe 3 adults but was packed with about 14 kids. All the public space was clustered with drunk parents and more kids. Arcade was just strewn about arcade games throughout some area around the “pool.” The pool is closer to a deep splash pad better suited for kids under 10 and anyone who doesn’t know how to swim. There is no mention that the pool isn’t a pool nor that it is best for smaller kids. Picked the hotel because it sounded great. I needed up leaving within the first 20 minutes. The staff members we’re friendly. The pool area was nice and big had lots of slides. The room was big and comfy. The breakfast was good. The fitness area was nice.

We came to visit our 4 and 6 year old grandchildren and chose this hotel for the pool. Our grandchildren loved it, but it was so cold that their lips literally turned blue and I was unable to stand the temperature. The on site cafe is very limited and the food was less than memorable. There was however a gift shop that has some really cool things. Next trip we will stay at the Great Wolf Lodge which states that their water temp is 80 degrees.

We enjoyed our room. It was clean and comfortable. There was an issue overbooking (this has happened both times we've stayed here) (we were accommodated appropriately both times) the pool area is big amd spacious. The only constructive feedback from us is that the pool water was unfortunately quite cold. Making our small kids not want to enjoy. There were several other smaller children who were saying the same thing.

Its a very nice hotel, but despite booking my room a month and a half in advance I still didnt get the room type that I wanted because of a "communication error" with one of the staff members. I was charged more than I was told I would be for not getting the room I wanted. The pool and courtyard areas are fantastic and great for families.
