Holiday Inn Express Williamston by IHG

Hotel was very clean and everyone who works there, from the lady who checked us in, the breakfast staff, to the housekeepers were all very pleasant and friendly. Bed and pillows were comfortable and breakfast was delicious. They have buffet style breakfast with a lot to choose from which I love! (I am not a waffle or cereal eater so I like the fact that when they say free breakfast they mean an actual breakfast and not a grab and go type breakfast!) We were very pleased with the stay and will definitely book here again during our next trip to Williamston.

I stayed here with my family last night and it was AMAZING. The beds are SO comfy. Like that was actually the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The whole building is so clean and smells so good. The workers are super nice , especially the housekeeping ladies. The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel and I’ve stayed at quite a few. The girl working in the breakfast area this morning was super friendly and helped make some pancakes for my daughter. I would recommend this place to any and everyone. I hope one day I have another reason to drive to through Williamston again just so I can stay here.

I have stayed at this location 2 weeks in a row (minus weekends) due to work travel. Overall, both stays were good. Both hotel rooms I stayed in were clean, in good repair and everything in the room worked properly. I did not notice any signs of bugs, mold or anything else that would deter me from staying. I use a special light to check for bed bugs and none were noted in either room. All of the staff were pleasant and able to answer any questions I had. I liked that Ribeyes is within walking distance to the hotel as this was convenient for me after working all day coming back to my hotel room. The location is right off the highway which is convenient. I felt the entrance to turn into the hotel could be better lit and actually have signage because the road is very dark at night and it is n

Positive: "" Negative: We were put in a Double Bed instead of a Queen Bed. The room was very, very small. The tub did not drain well. The breakfast was disappointing.

Please note, the stay was overall completely fine (nothing out of the ordinary for a Holiday Inn, and the woman at the front desk was really pleasant and gave us some breakfast foods to go as we left very early). But! This hotel (along with many others) has really awful bright lights that serve no purpose outside. At this point, science has proven blue lights are extremely detrimental to environmental and human health, and yet this Holiday Inn feels to need to blast it. So, remove the lights and get your stars back. Light pollution is really bad, and every building contributes to it or can make it better.
