Green Acres Campground

Definitely off the beaten path! I love the location, bath house was clean however water pressure wasn't the greatest, water was hot, pretty centralized in location to camping. Driveway is a little rough although they where fixing most of the drive paths as we were leaving so hopefully that goes well, all sites seem to have power and water and thats very convenient!!!! I will definitely be coming back!!!! And they are also open year round!!!!!

Stayed here 5 nights during Memorial Day weekend. Full hook up sites mostly seasonal or permanent tenants. Our sandy, slightly unlevel site faced the pond, so we had more than our share of gnats & mosquitos - and ants. We went to Mall Wart and got ant baits, which, with spot use of Raid kept them at bay. Pull thru site, but on a slope at the exit end that was so steep we waited until we were on the exit road to install our weight distribution hitch. Showers were clean; urinal in the men’s was dry - water pipe broken off & flush handle DOT. Gone. Friendly people, both employees and regulars, quiet during the week, nice shaded place, but all in all we’ll leave it for the regulars in future.

One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Very quiet, beautiful scenery and most of all, the staff are wonderful people. The owners make you feel at home. Very affordable with all the amenities you’ll need.

I love this place. I went there on weekends with family and had a camper it's great to talk to people make new friends, and my grandpa first taught me how to fish out there. may he rip, but they also had different stuff on different days like bingo, fishing competition, and the owner, Mr. Bob was the best man I ever met they have different activities to do, but I stop going, but if Mr. Bob or his wife is reading this. Just know that I enjoyed being there, and I was in the camper in front of Gary. I think that's his name on the steep hill next to the tennis court

We grew up going to Green Acres at least once a year, usually several times! From elementary school through graduate school, my family and I visited for Halloween, summer vacations, and everything in between. If tents and campers aren't your style, they have several cabins that are very comfortable, and even have kitchens. The staff have always been more than kind.
