Holiday Inn Express West Jefferson by IHG

Positive: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Negative: I had to have my room key replaced multiple times, but that turned out to be because I got them too close to my cell phone and it killed the signal. But they were very patient at the front desk and cheerfully fixed my problem.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in West Jefferson. The staff was challenged by having technical trouble with the room key system and graciously walked us to our door and let us in each time we returned. If that weren't enough, their kitchen stove went out at the same time. They bent over backward to get it repaired quickly and gave us a full breakfast both with and without it. Our room was very spacious, fresh, and clean. Fresh towels, and trash removal were provided daily. The cheerfulness and helpfulness of all staff was what made the stay most memorable.

Fridge didn't work. Rooms were clean. Really only hotel in West Jefferson. Would stay again. No pets is a pain though

Hopefully one of the 5 people sitting behind the front desk on their phones can find the time to take the overflowing trash out in front of the building. Something to consider. "It's not my job" syndrome. Poor job representing the brand

This hotel was in a great location just a short drive away from the wedding venue we were in town for. The rooms were pretty standard but a little dated. The bathroom has no fan so it gets muggy in there and it didn't feel or smell especially fresh upon check in. The breakfast was not the best but they had enough there to get you started for the day.
