Holiday Inn Express & Suites Williamsport by IHG

It is my second stay at this Holiday Inn Express, and I look forward to returning for future business trips. Tim at the front desk is helpful and gives great tips about food and local attractions, very knowledgeable and thoughtful, and Skye is very friendly and gives great tips as well. Clean rooms, continental breakfast is great, well located near stores and restaurants. Recommended for anyone who wants to simply show up and enjoy their stay. No hassles, they go out of their way to make the experience warm and stress free:)

We’ve stayed at the Residence Inn right next door before and always had great experiences. This time, we decided to try this Holiday Inn, but unfortunately, the service here didn’t compare. The breakfast area was very small and several of the machines were broken, making the morning inconvenient. We also asked for a late checkout and were told no, and when we requested extra toiletries like soap and shampoo, they never arrived. Overall, this stay fell short of what we expected given our positive experiences just down the road, especially considering that our room at the Residence Inn cost less than this one.

Have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels and this was on the way home from Penn State which we visit often. Room was spacious and clean, however, it reeked of cigarette smoke in the room and the bathroom. Smelled like it had been there a while. We were too tired to ask for a different room and went to sleep only to be awoken by the guests above and/or next to us flushing the toilet. Lost count after about the 12th time. The room was right outside the elevator and you could hear the dinging every time it stopped or passed the floor as well as people’s conversations. We did bring the smoke smell up to the front desk clerk but wonder if anything will get done. Maybe other rooms are better, but will not be staying here again.

Large clean room, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious and varied breakfast, good coffee and convenient amenities. The laundry machines were clean and looked new. The AC units are very loud, but I got used to it. Located within walking distance of downtown and the Susquehanna Riverwalk.

I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Williamsport! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The complimentary breakfast was a great start to the day, offering a variety of fresh and tasty options. The hotel’s location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area. I also appreciated the ample parking and well-maintained facilities. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Williamsport. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!
