Holiday Inn Williamsport by IHG

We came up for a tour of Penn College and stayed at the hotel. We got a 2 queen room. It was a nice size. It was quiet in the room. The shower was nice with good water pressure. The beds were firm and the pillows were feather I think. Not bad but I prefer foam. We are in the attached restaurant. It was fine. The service was fast which we preferred.

Nice hotel. Over priced restaurant. Staff likes to play games with reservations and put coworkers who spend hours driving and working within arms reach of each other, in rooms right next to each other. They pre-assign rooms like a motel because they do not trust staff to check people in as they check in. Only drinks over priced drinks is all hard working adults have to relax their sore muscles with for amenities.

Overall the hotel was clean and the front desk was very friendly. The king room was big. I found it very nicely furnished for the cost. I love the dove collection of toiletries, I use dove at home. Check in was very fast (I had a reservation). ||I did not really like the restaurant breakfast setup. Personally I prefer a buffet at a hotel where you serve yourself. Some people may prefer the restaurant vibe so I’m not taking a star off for that. Just something to be aware of. ||I am taking off a star because the parking situation was terrible. Each night we would return at 8pm to find the parking lot completely full. We would have to park very far from the entrance in a separate lot. There is clearly not enough parking here.

I stayed in the presidential suite! It was the best experience I've ever had staying at a hotel! It had a jacuzzi which was my whole reason for booking the room. I don't usually talk about the toilet, but it had a bidet! I've never used a bidet before. The bed was super comfy. If I get to come to the area again, I hope to be able to book the same room again, it was definitely worth the money spent!

I came here for business and really enjoyed the place. I felt safe and the front desk was really friendly. The hotel manager went out of his way to come chat with me and get to know me. He was really nice and also help one of my students locate their ear pod case. On Tuesday evenings, they have a small happy hour for the guest and on Wednesday there is a group of older ladies that eat at the restaurant and play bridge. The have dove products in the bathroom. And 1.50 laundry machines. It's also a short walk to the timber trail across the highway.
