Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wheeling by IHG

This hotel was lovely, clean and a comfortable room for a nice night. Great pillows and a comfortable bed! We mentioned our door handle was very difficult to turn, but otherwise everything was very nice!

The front desk staff was very nice and did a wonderful job getting us checked in when we had a bunch of guests arriving at the same time. Room was a good price

I really appreciate the free breakfast and the variety of choices. It's really one of the perks I look for in a hotel. My only complaint about the breakfast was that the hot food was not very hot and I didn't like the eggs that were stuffed with cheese... kind of weird. I like the scrambled eggs better. Absolutely loved the hot tub. After driving all day it was such a treat to sit in the hot tub and relax for a while. The staff was very nice and friendly. They made checking in very easy.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The patio in back was a great place to relax. There are grills if you want to cook out. Good location near many dining options.

I made the reservation two months in advance for two rooms a month before the stay date I updated it to one room. They told me they had to refresh the room rates with the current rate so my room rate went up then when I went to check out the bill said 270 and they charge my card for 350 saying they keep an extra 20% and will refund it in four weeks in four weeks. They only refunded $50 The invoice they gave me when I checked out had none of this documented on it. So be aware of this billing policy.
