Holiday Inn Express & Suites Stevensville Benton Harbor, an IHG Hotel

Excellent stay! Upon arrival, I was hit with the smell of fresh linen & sea salt. The front lobby was well-lit & inviting. Heather was very friendly & kind, she checked me in quickly & efficiently. The room was wonderful, the beds were soft & comfortable. At check out, the front desk staff was warm & friendly, as well. If ever in the area, definitely a great place to rest!

Everything was very clean and staff was very friendly. I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews on here before booking but we had a last minute stop and we were definitely NOT disappointed. Their new manager Laurie was FANTASTIC. We had a small billing issue (not hotels fault) that was immediately corrected without hesitation. Her and her team went above and beyond my families expectations and will definitely stay again!

Mostly ok experience. Floors in the room where dirty. A vacuum wud have helped. And there where no linens for the sofa bed and the room description says it sleeps 6 and when we tried to get the linens it was a challange as the employee on duty had no keys to access the supplies that were needed. Also not enuf towels or washclothes so needed to ask for more of those as well... Breakfast bar was great!

Arrived at 9pm. Was told there was no rooms available.showef her our reservation confirmation. She than said "oh I found your room. It hasn't been cleaned yet . " This happened to others that had come in while we were waiting. Some of the people were sent away. They kept telling them that they were overbooked and had no rooms. In reality they had plenty of rooms, they just hadn't been cleaned. Even though they had been reserved. The cleaning lady was the only professional in the group. The next morning there was no food at the breakfast station, well there was oatmeal, everything else was empty. They did bring out some biscuits but not enough for everyone who was waiting. In my opinion they should make the cleaning lady the manager!

This is a very new HIE, everything was great, except the breakfast offered in the morning left ALOT to be desired, the only decent item was the pancakes, but even there, the syrup bottle was pretty disgusting looking, so I opted for the sugar free was as it was packaged, they had no eggs except some dried out omelet looking things that were horribly stuck to the pan, the sausage looked very questionable, it wouldn't take much to simply make an effort to make this quite nice. Staff was great, rooms were clean, beds very comfortable.
