Holiday Inn Express & Suites S Lake Buena Vista by IHG

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Service Made the Stay, Shoutout to Danny! 🙌 We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on S Lake Buena Vista and overall had a really good experience. The service was the standout ⭐, especially Danny. He was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Employees like that make a huge difference when traveling. 👏 The location is super convenient for the parks and local attractions 🎢🏰, and the hotel was clean and easy to access. Breakfast was solid and kept stocked, which is always appreciated when you’re trying to get out the door quickly in the morning ☕🥞. We had to stay at this hotel as part of a Stay-to-Play soccer tournament, whose fields were over 30 minutes away. So, we weren’t overly enthusiastic anyway. However, somehow we were still underwhelmed. ||Let’s start with the pluses. The breakfast was very good, although seating was pretty limited. There is some outdoor seating, but the majority of tables are oriented toward east, facing the rising sun! ||The pool areas are great! There are 3 pools and couple hot tubs. The bartenders at the Lighthouse Tiki Bar thing were very friendly & mixed some STRONG drinks, but I wouldn’t recommend relying on this place for food. We order Chips & Salsa as well as Potato Skins. Me and my family visited for a couple of days to visit Disney and Universal. Our room was spectacular-comfy beds. I loved all of the amenities that were included- 3 pools/ziplining/rock climbing. Breakfast was always great. We met both the breakfast manager and GM and they were attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere and great stay.

When we pulled up to the hotel lobby, you could smell pot coming from the parking lot. The desk and breakfast staff were great. Our room was dated and musty. The window shades were broken and dropped to the floor when closed. The bathroom needed a good caulking. The rooms did have a coffee maker, frig, safe, tv, etc. and the free breakfast was very good. The coffee machine actually grinds the beans for each cup so that was very nice. The hotel has a lot of potential but needs some cleanup and management of the parking lot smoking so close to the lobby. I don't care if they're smoking but keep it away from the front door.

As an IHG Elite Member, I stay at many IHG properties throughout the year for both business and personal travel. Unfortunately, my recent stay at this particular property did not meet the standards I have come to expect from IHG. I was in Orlando for a business trip attending the IBS show, and I specifically chose this hotel because of my loyalty to the IHG brand and the consistency it typically offers. However, this stay fell short in several areas. The overall experience did not reflect the quality, professionalism, and service standards that IHG is known for. As a loyal guest who frequently chooses IHG properties, I believe consistency is extremely important.
