Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pembroke Pines-Sheridan St by IHG

Positive: Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet satisfactory. Location was nice. Room was nice Negative: Bed linens were stained. Pillow protector was stained and they didn't clean or replace when I asked for linens to be changed. Sheets were changed though. Hopefully housekeeping changes mattress protector and pillow protector between guests.

The size room I paid for was not available. The room we did get smelled really musty and moldy. I woke up each day all stuffed up. Toilet was broken. Took several requests to get someone to come repair it. Breakfast was terrible. Cold potatoes, eggs were cheese omelets that had been sitting there for hours. Muffins were prepackaged store bought. Other than the front desk, no one speaks english. I would not recommend.

I wanted to take a moment to make you aware of the exemplary service that my mother and I received from your front desk host, Cleidy. She welcomed us with a smile and her warmth was genuine. Cleidy made arrangements so that my 90 year old mother and I could have rooms next to one another; despite being on separate reservations and the hotel was seemingly quite full. Then, when my mother needed to reduce her stay from 4 nights to 2; Cleidy was there again and she cheerfully made the changes for my mother. The next morning when we checked out, we were delighted to see that Cleidy was there to help us out once again. My stay at this location was much better than my previous stay at the Plantation, FL location. I liked how the location was much quieter with better street and buildings. Breakfast was bland, ended up going to Dunkin’ Donuts most mornings. Loved the dining and food around the Pembrooke and Davie areas. Hotel was quiet at night with plenty of parking. Front desk staff were professional and respectful of guests. Housekeeping provided fresh linen daily- my only complaint is that my handwashing and body lotions weren’t replaced per my request after calling the front desk twice. Air conditioning was not working correctly, was very loud at night, and did not cool down the room despite it being on the coolest setting. Check-out was smooth.

Typical Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast was okay, the room was clean and comfortable, but had a musty smell. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Yeni at the front desk was helpful in my room location reques at check in. Perfectly fine for a one night stay.
