Overall, a very pleasant stay and experience. I would like to particularly recognize Karelyss (front desk associate) for her outstanding professionalism and kindness. She stood out among all other employees here at this hotel. She deserves a raise and promotion. All of the other staff were friendly and courteous. With that being said, there are a few items I would like to address: * The self-service laundry facility is great; but the machines are outdated and only one, out of two dryers, worked. Also, might want to consider adding three to four more machines; so that “jockeying” for machines doesn’t become an Olympic sport. * The house keeping staff speaks little, to no English, at all. My housekeeping representative could not understand me when I asked for just the trash to be do

The smell defines this hotel! Do not minimize the reviews on this hotel that talk about the smell. There is a sewage treatment plant across the street and the smell is at times sickening. We had no idea so we called the front desk, thinking our bathroom was malfunctioning. The staff has a script that they have clearly been trained to use. “Thank you for letting us know. There is a sewage treatment plant across the street. We will call them to let them knowledge.” We would have moved out and found another hotel but it would have been a major hassle. They offer to bring air fresheners to your room. The smell of feces covered up with fake flower smell didn’t sound appealing. Positive: The room looked nice and was clean. Negative: Horrible mattress. The hotel is near a landfill and the stench was simply disgusting.

Recent room remodeled and hotel has fresh new feeling. Breakfast had nice variety of hot and good food. Hotel manager Marc was very friendly and accommodating for our early flight arrival. Marc has friendly staff who work hard to keep the property clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this Best Western hotel.

Very disappointed. Room has/had ghost ants all over, seen a few spiders as well. There was a horrible sewage smell that made sleeping uncomfortable, to the point where I went downstairs to complain but was told it was the near by lake (crap). I have stayed at different hotels next to water and it never had a smell like this one. When i went to complain there were other guests downstairs complaining about the same thing. Also once I got up in the morning I went downstairs to ask for washcloths and was told the cleaning crew would come by around 930am, well guess what they didn’t come around till 11am (our room). Why not just give me what I’m asking for so I can get ready and out of your hotel at my check out time??! Free breakfast needs a little upgrading. Orange juice tasted like water,
