Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nampa - Idaho Center by IHG

Wife and I stayed 5 nights while visiting family. Entire property staff was perfect, especially the front desk. Leah and Joshlyn were the best. Friendly, always smiling and willing to laugh. Perfect property. Breakfast was about the best of all the “free” ones I’ve ever had.

This was a great location. The rooms were spectacularly clean and new. The hotel is next to the hospital which is nice. There are places to walk. Breakfast was nice it had all of the food groups. The service was great. The people working there are genuine caring people.

The bed was soaking wet on my side, I put towels down to sleep on because I was too tired to change rooms. Also there was no coffee maker or even a plastic glass in the room to use to brush my teeth. Not the usual Holiday Inn experience.

Positive: We were placed in the newly remodeled section and it was very nice and clean. Negative: The hotel was undergoing a MAJOR construction project that limited access to the parking lot, the front desk, and THE POOL WAS CLOSED! They offered us passes to a fitness club to swim, but that's not what we were expecting. We would not have stayed there.

I’ve never written a business review before, but I feel this experience is worth sharing to help others avoid the same situation. I travel frequently, staying in hotels three to four trips a month, and I typically enjoy my stays with Holiday Inn. In fact, I stayed at three different Holiday Inns just this week while on the road. Unfortunately, this particular location was a major disappointment compared to others. I’ve stayed here before and had a positive experience, but this trip was very different. The property is currently a full construction zone with no main entrance, lobby, or amenities available. While I could have looked past the renovation inconvenience, the real issue was that the temporary “front desk” was set up in the hallway directly outside our room. It was impossible to sl
