Holiday Inn Express & Suites Murphy, an IHG Hotel

Positive: Our room was clean and the breakfast was good. Negative: They were doing construction at the hotel. The workers were very respectful when working and using the elevator, but the pool was filled with construction materials. It would have been nice to know that before booking.

Awful experience, quite time was 10pm and it’s now after midnight and the room next door has had screaming children running up and down the hallways, loud music, kids jumping around and banging on the walls since 9pm. Have called the front desk several times and nothing has been done. Would not recommend if you need a good nights rest, basically ruined a day of our vacation.

These pictures show what my TV does and no one seems too concerned about it. I told the lady on the Wednesday evening shift at the front desk 3 different times. She gave me suggestions the first 2 times and on my third attempt to get some help she said she would come take a look. Never showed up. Room and tax of almost $ 200 a night I expect a working TV. I am in these hotels all the time for my job. VERY disappointed in this location. The attitude as I saw it was give us our money. The hell with your experience.

The room was comfortable and clean with a very comfortable bed! The climate control worked well and adjusted quickly. The staff both at our late-night check in and our mid-morning check out were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked even until cut off time.

Nice hotel from outside. Our room had a spider on the floor my partner was taken a nap got hit by a bed bug. Manager was super rude to us. Said she was fully booked told us we could just leave. I work out of town and we call this travel. I stay in hotel all across north Carolina and this is the first time I have ever came across one a bed bug and two a rude person up in north Carolina. The behavior is more so for Augusta ga hotels not a north Carolina hotel. FYI now I put my card down for incidentals been checked out for 2 days now and still haven't gotten my $40 back my company got me another hotel after they told me I could leave because they had a bed bug in a bed this hotel did not offer me another room they told me they were fully booked I have another employee in the hotel who tells
