Holiday Inn Express & Suites Merrimack - Nashua by IHG

Summary: clean and comfortable, great location, needs some updating. This is a decent place right off the highway, with shops and restaurants nearby. About 15 min from MHT, easy access to Nashua and other towns in the area. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was adequate, although the coffee was barely tolerable. My standard king-bed room was clean and reasonably comfortable, although on a bitterly cold night there was a slight cold draft near the window. The bathroom could use a little updating, with better lighting. The room desperately needs a microwave. (There's a small fridge, and a Keurig coffee maker.) Overall good for a short stay.

We arrived about two hours before standard check in and were given our room cards. Room was clean and quiet. It was a snowy night. Lot was cleared in the morning. Worst part was the fire alarm at 9AM. Manager told us quickly it was a false alarm so we did not have to be outside in the 5°F wind and cold.

We were very happy with out stay. The front desk staff and cleaning staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and there were multiple options. The breakfast host was helpful to determine what was gluten free for me. We stayed for three nights and had no problems at all. We will absolutely stay here again when we visit our daughter.

I have stayed at this location a few times. It is conveniently located by the highway and is a short drive to the Merrimack Outlet Mall. There is also a new 24 hour gas station right next to the hotel which comes in handy for my late night flights for a quick snack. It’s a basic hotel, the rooms are quiet and they are clean. I normally stay on the third floor and have never had a problem with cleanliness. My last stay because of a team block booking I was up graded to a suite. Which was a pleasant surprise coming in on a late night flight. Management and housekeeping are doing a wonderful job keeping me coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming — they really made the experience stand out. Although the property itself is older and there are things about it that simply can’t be changed, the upkeep is outstanding. The hotel and rooms are kept impeccably clean, which for me is one of the most important aspects of any stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options that went beyond the basics. Despite the hotel’s age, the combination of cleanliness, comfort, and service made our stay very enjoyable. A couple of small notes: if you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend requesting a room away from the elevator, as noise carries.
