Holiday Inn Express & Suites Meriden by IHG

I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, which made the entire experience feel comfortable and relaxing. The food was surprisingly good, with fresh options that made mornings easy and enjoyable. What stood out most was the excellent customer service—every staff member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d happily stay here again.

We booked the room for the weekend for a soccer games. The rooms were beautiful and well kept, it looked almost brand new! Every person we came in contact with was helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious and had many options. Loved the cinnamon rolls so delicious. My first time at a holiday inn and will not be my last!

The night staff was incredible and very accommodating during our stay. We initially stayed for two nights due to a water main break in Waterbury, CT, which created an unexpected emergency for our family. When we asked the day manager about the possibility of a discounted rate for extending our stay an additional two nights under these circumstances, we were informed that no discounts were available. The day breakfast staff, unfortunately, was not very friendly, which contrasted with the positive experience we had with the evening staff.
