Holiday Inn Express & Suites Las Cruces by IHG

Hotel is being remodeled which it desperately needs so it’s a bit of a mess. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast in the morning was fine. Pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, sausage and bakery goods. No water fill stations and very limited number of small water bottles provided at breakfast. Half of the hallway of the rooms face the road right by the train. You can hear it as if it was right next you. Makes it very difficult to sleep. It runs 2-3 times each night it seems. Very loud and the blinds are terrible. They need replacing. Beds were comfy and clean sheets. There was dry wall scraps on top of the bed but nothing a little brushing off couldn’t fix. The bathroom needed attention. Just smells old and musty and the tub was disgusting. Discolored top to bottom, fix

Skip this location. Our bathroom was filthy! The overhead fan was disgusting. We couldn't even consider eating breakfast after seeing how dirty the room was. They are "remodeling" but are not doing a good job at it. To top it off, they charged us an extra $25 dollars for something listed as *accommodation. On a positive note, I was happy with the lady I spoke to when I called to follow up on the $25 charge. Elizabeth was friendly, quick find the problem and quick to fix it. I appreciated her calling me back to make sure I received the refund.

I am extremely disappointed in the Holiday Inn express I stayed at last night in Las Cruces, NM. It is going through a major remodel and should be CLOSED DOWN during this time,NOT open to PAYING guests at over $150 a night. The floors were completely ripped up, paint pails and tools all over the place. The carpet in the room itself was absolutely disgusting. The pool and fitness center were closed and there were no working ice machines anywhere in hotel. On top of that, check in took 10+ minutes even though I had paid in full before arriving. The front desk attendant had to call his manager (something about which cc to charge the $25 incidental fee). I had trusted Holiday Inn Express as better than other budget hotels, but this was a huge disgrace.

My family and I had a great stay with Holiday Inn. They got our room ready quickly after a last-minute reservation. All staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfy. Train noise was the only thing that woke me up (I am a light sleep naturally) lol the pool was COLD and spa was closed but we had a fun time swimming. Breakfast was good and hot. Housekeeping wasn’t available through the evening and early morning so we had to go down to the front desk for items, which I didn’t like, but not a total negative. A couple of updates to the room were needed (writing on the wall, a dent in the wall by the front door, and a small stain in the sofa-bed mattress). Parking was free and this stay was a trip-saver for us so it was overall a great time spent and accommodated us

December 2025 hotel under a huge renovation. Once it’s done it should be really nice. For us there was drywall dust EVERYWHERE!! Our room number was on the floor and the hallways smell like fresh paint. The actual room was ok not updated yet.
