Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Forest - Irvine East by IHG

Rosario prepared our room and it was excellent. We felt so relaxed immediately as the room as prepared very neatly and clean. Bathroom was really nice and clean. I like there are many outlets and USB ports available around the room Also kudos to holiday inn in this location. The front desk people both gentlemen really treated us great and gave us goodie bags. I didn't get their names but they were the staff there morning of 3/5/26. Overall we enjoyed and had a very rrlaxing stay.

This hotel was quite; deceptive. They made the front look bigger than it is online. And the pool is award winningly small. The rooms are rather bleak. Almost… depressing. It’s your basic bog standard hotel. [It almost feels motel like]. I don’t know how it’s possible, but the gym might be even smaller than the pool.|Perks: free ready made cookies on arrival, as-well as a goodie bag. |Could do with a big update, I’m glad I’m only here for one night. The staff were pleasant, my overall experience is very bleak. |For convenience you are right by a Starbucks and some bakeries and the self parking is free. |Just an ok hotel, wouldn’t stay here again.

This seems like a newer property that has been kept in good repair since new. Everything in the room worked exactly as it should, and the attendant, Rosario, was clearly proud of her work, as this room was spotless when I checked in and everything worked as it should. Even the clock was set to the correct time, and I can’t remember how many times I’ve walked into a hotel room to find the clock was off by hours. I’d stay here again without hesitation!

Rosario did an outstanding job preparing our room. Everything was spotless, organized, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can truly see the attention to detail and care that Rosario puts into his work. Was blown away by how exceptionally clean the room was, thank you housekeeping staff! The bed was comfortable, and the Keurig coffee station was a great amenity. However, our room was closest to the road which was very noisy in the morning from commuters, and throughout the night we could hear every step from the floor above. Would recommend asking for a top floor room away from the road. All the employees we interacted with, including the manager Todd were courteous and helpful throughout our stay.
