Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indianapolis W - Airport Area

We liked everything about this hotel except for the extremely loud traffic on the interstate ALL NIGHT LONG!!! We reserved this room because of the park sleep and fly option unfortunately their shuttle can only hold 4 people at a time as their other shuttle is broke down. Our earliest shuttle we could take is at 6:00 am and our flight starts boarding at 7:20 am. By the time we arrived at the airport after an estimated 15 minute drive, we would only have maybe an hour to get through checking in and security if everything went smoothly, which is way too close on time. We ended up taking our own transportation to the airport and that added an extra expense to our stay. Although the hotel is very nice and seems to be new, the road noise is horrible!!! Subpar when compared to other Holiday Inns. CONS: Barely any water came out of the sink faucet. All 4 pillows were soft and flat (normally, there are 2 soft and 2 firm). Wi-Fi had a very poor signal. Finding a parking spot was a nightmare (parking lot is shared with Motel 6). The parking lot was never plowed from the latest snowfall, making it dangerous to walk on. The noise from the highway was loud. PROS: The room was clean. Breakfast was great - many options available. Would not recommend and will not return.

When we arrived check in was super fast. The parking lot is extremely small and shared with another hotel. Had to park pretty far away. Once we got back inside the hotel we got on the elevator we were on the 4th floor while going up the hotel lost power with us on the elevator. My husband used the phone to call the front desk and told them we were stuck on the elevator, they said ok. We had to pry ourselves out of the elevator with 2 small panicked kids. Told them at the front desk and they didn’t even care that had happened. So after that we took the stairs to our room. There was a red bull can and some papers on the desk. So I went back downstairs and they got us another room. Got in still no power. Fine we were leaving for an event anyways. Got back to our room around 10:30pm. Turn on t

This Holiday Inn Express exceeds any expectations! We had trouble where our reservation was canceled when we changed dates but front desk, quickly got a room to meet our needs. We did a stay/park/fly, an awesome deal. When we returned our car battery was dead! Fallon, at the front desk, found cables and worked to get us on our way! She was awesome!!! Thank you Fallon!

Staff was great and very helpful. We had a great stay in this clean hotel. Rooms are great size. Could hear a lot in the halls from the gap under the room door. Pool was nice but there is not hot tub. The pics look like a hot tub but it is not. The park and fly was amazing but be sure to park your vehicle close to Holiday Inn front door. The driver to the airport was wonderful. NOTE: The Motel 6 next to this hotel is skechy.
