Holiday Inn Express & Suites Grand Rapids South - Wyoming by IHG

Not a great hotel. The first room we were put in the tub didn't drain. Had to be moved to a smaller room with a room with a roll away bed, which was horrible and needs to be replaced. The room was loud because of the refrigerator and the air conditioner. The toilet had some pink sticky stuff on it. The bathroom was filled with little ants and the handicapped shower was ridiculous to use not because it was handicapped but the shower curtain was useless and water got all over the floor. I would not come back if we were in the area. The hotel employee who helped us switch rooms was nice.

The rooms were super spacious and with modern amenities. Small little quirks like the LED lights behind the bed would flash.\n The shower door slider wouldn't stay closed. But other than those small little things, the stay was Pretty good, a lot of awesome things to do nearby.Like Craig cruisers, bowling alleys and shopping centers.The parking lot is kind of small.But the rates were good. All in all four star hotel. I will be returning

I usually don't stay at IHG hotels for no reason but ignorance. When a business trip to Grand Rapids required me to stay close to a client, I booked the hotel. When I checked in, I realized I had booked the wrong location. They accommodated me and were very understanding. The room was clean, nice and had enough amenities. Although I am not a big fan of shower curtains, I enjoyed the experience. Breakfast was great, lots of options and people helping. I left there very happy. I will consider staying at an IHG hotel again, as I travel often.

We stayed July 30th. The hotel is in a convenient and quiet location. The room itself was clean as was the lobby and exterior. Breakfast was okay; lacking turkey sausage. My complaint would be the need to thoroughly clean the bottom edges of the shower and then re-caulk it. It looks bad, and the corners in the bathroom on the floor need to be tended to. What was great was the front desk clerk that checked us in. She was so friendly, otherwise I would have docked another point for the bathroom.

My family stayed there this past weekend with my son’s hockey team and it was hands down a fantastic choice. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They provided a space where our kids can be kids without disturbing other guests. With our crazy hockey schedule they allowed us to enjoy their complimentary breakfast before our early morning games. The rooms are clean. Overall our stay was great and would definitely recommend to others.
