Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas - Grand Prairie I-20 by IHG

This is a wonderful place! It is modern and new in the interior. The housekeeping pay attention to details. They add extra artistic touches to the rooms. There is friendly customer service. This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express hotels I have been to.

The room I was in, the shower didn't work as it was supposed to. When the shower was on, there was still water coming out of the faucet from the tub. With the water running from both locations, the tub would fill with water in seconds. I advised the staff and they nonchalantly said that they're aware of the issue and it's in every room. The night staff, seemed like they were never at the desk and didn't feel like working. One would come out, but would go out to smoke and talk on the phone. When I arrived, the lady that checked me in was talking on her phone and acted like I interrupted her call because I came to check-in. Overall....I wouldn't recommend this hotel!!!

This hotel has undergone renovations, everything is brand new. . It is fabulous! I has an indoor pool and hot tub, what a bonus! The room nicely appointed and bed was beyond comfy. Nice and quiet and next to a Golden Corral .Breakfast is really good with lots of choices.

Loved the whirlpool tub and how clean the room was! Being on the first floor, I was worried about noise. It was not bad at all. The bed was very very firm. We ended up getting pool floats to put on it because it was hard. There was only an office chair to sit on in the room. It would have been nice to have at least a small leisure chair. The bathroom was stocked with full size Dove products. It also had extra space things like hair nets, travel soap, shampoo and razor in the room. That was very nice.

Unsatisfactory service here at this location. My wife chose to stay here for business and had a horrific time checking in. The front desk person locked themselves out of the system and waited about 45 min before calling for help and my wife sat in the lobby for almost an hour and a half before anything got done. When my wife asked for late check out she was informed that it was at 1, which is only 1 hour after normal check out. No sense of urgency to help her get in a room and has forever left a bad taste for this location. Would not recommend
