Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Grand Prairie

The first issue was cleanliness—there were spiders throughout the room and around the hotel. It was unsettling and made the stay uncomfortable from the start. There were also major problems with the room key system. My key would flash green but still wouldn’t unlock the door, which meant multiple frustrating trips to the front desk. This is a basic function that guests should not have to struggle with. Parking was the biggest issue. The hotel has very specific parking requirements, yet none of this was communicated at check-in or displayed clearly. The morning after my stay, multiple guests discovered their cars had been towed. When I asked the front desk why guests weren’t informed, the staff simply responded, “Nobody asked.” That level of dismissiveness is unacceptable—clear communicat

This hotel is one of the newer Courtyard hotels and the rooms and amenities definitely were more modern and functional than others. I was delighted that my room had both a microwave and a mini fridge, which seem to be rare these days. ||The best part of my stay though was the staff! Derrien was such a sweetheart and from check-in throughout my whole trip, she always greeted me with a smile and was so genuine in her kindness. She had great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area so I was in great hands. Thanks, Derrien!

I enjoyed my stay here at the Marriott. Nice, clean rooms and close to everything. Joseph, at the front desk is so nice. Jared, working at the bistro is also wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Rooms were booked by our company. Great location & nice rooms. HOWEVER, be aware of predatory towing… No one tells you where hotel parking is. Sign says “Patron Parking” which we were hotel “patrons”, but ended up paying an outrageous tow/impound fee. Just want to warn everyone before you attempt to park, as you WILL NOT be told or advised where to/not to park.
