Holiday Inn Express & Suites Covington Tennessee

I first want to start by acknowledging the staff at the Covington Tennessee Holiday Inn Express location,everyone was pleasant.My family and I was in town for a home going service for the weekend and the accommodations the manager provided for over 70+ individuals was amazing for short notice. But there's 1 staff member in particular by the name James Jarrett who does housekeeping, he was the most welcoming, friendly hard working individual I've met in town. He insured my family and I were pleased with room service and knowledge of just moving through the weekend stress free. Its just something about the southern housepatality from folk in the south that's unmatched up North.

No sign by the road, the road leading to it is next to McDonald's. It looks to have been renovated a few years ago and some of the shine is coming off Loose trim, loose handles on the water fittings, missing leg from the microwave. Everything worked in the room, though. The laundry center was out of service with no indication of where you could go to do laundry. This is by far the nicest hotel in 25 miles but if they don't take care of it, it will be as bad as the others and not worth the price. I had a clogged shower drain and it took 2 hours to get that fixed, the man doing the repair did a great job of it and was very nice. The breakfast is excellent even for a hotel. Teresa, I think is her name, works the kitchen there and does it well, she should be given a raise. Staff was helpf

Positive: Maintenance Assistance was very nice and responded promptly! Negative: Front desk clerk was not pleasant at all. No greetings and just bad customer service. Will not be returning in the future.

This hotel is located in a very small, rural area, and it’s likely your best option nearby. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet, and the beds were comfortable, which made for a restful stay. Unfortunately, early check-in was not available during our visit. We’re not sure if that’s standard policy or if it just wasn’t an option at the time, but it did cause some inconvenience for us. There isn’t much to do in the immediate area, but the town of Millington—with more dining and shopping options—is about a 30–45 minute drive away.

Clean, quiet and comfortable, the room was very nice. Just what we like. Staff is always so friendly, polite, and professional. Located in a great spot with everything you might need close by. Breakfast was very delicious and had all our favorite food,, love your breakfast,,! The parking area is well lighted and secure for your vehicle overnight. Thank you for another wonderful stay,! We love Covington Tn. !
