Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cocoa by IHG

This was my first time staying at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, and it exceeded my expectations thanks to the exceptional service from the staff. Nathan at the front desk provided a warm welcome and was professional, attentive, and extremely helpful from the moment I arrived. He truly set the tone for a great stay. During breakfast, Linda and Claudia delivered outstanding service. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was well taken care of, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The front desk clerk in the evening, Connor, was amazing. He was so friendly and helpful and even came up to our room because we could not get our shower door open. It was stuck closed and we could not use it. He finally managed to get it open and put in a work order. To our knowledge, though, no one ever came up to fix it because it would not open from a closed position. We had to leave it open a few inches to take a shower and then just mop up the water on the floor. Additionally, we were very impressed by the kindness of the breakfast hostess. We observed her a couple mornings taking care of a homeless man who comes in for breakfast. She fixed up a big plate of food for him and was so kind to him. Positive: The staff was amazing, very friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. Negative: The room smelled damp and moldy. The sheets and mattress even felt damp. I know they were renovating upstairs it we were on the 1st floor and it had not been renovated yet.

I am impressed with level of service that I receive every time that I stay here, which I do multiple times each year. The employees always go out of their way to handle any request. Housekeeper Maria is an exceptional employee, and is willing to help with anything that is needed, even when it is not her responsibility or within her job description. She is just willing to do what is needed to make out stay totally pleasant. Then, there is Ryan who is at the front desk overnight. When my card would not work, he re-prohrammed it and insisted on going with me to open the door. He showed me how to jiggle the card when it does not want to work. He could had just given me the card and sent me on my way. But, he did not want me to have to come back down in case it did.not work. Additional

Stayed one night before our Disney cruise. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast, friendly staff. I was able to send a few items from Amazon to the hotel ahead of time. Items were ready for my pickup the day of check in. Highly recommend.
