Customer Reviews
This is a great spot just off the intercoastal in Cocoa! The owners happen to be personal friends I recommend this place Haily. You can’t find it Cleaner nicer small hotel like this with the greatest Owners.
This is an older motel but very clean. The owners are so nice. The only downfall I s the noise. The motel is located near a heavily traveled highway and there are multiple trains nearby that are running all night long blowing their whistles. Bring your earplugs and you will be fine. There is no where around that you can find a better price, super nice owners and clean rooms.
The hotel isn't bad for its age, but the price doesn't correlate to the quality of the room. The rooms haven't been updated in a while, I assume is due trying to preserve the hotels esthetic. The bathroom is pretty tight and lacks ventilation, and the window is disabled probably to keep people from breaking it. The shower has a wall and enterence that only has about an 18-inch opening. It's more attune to the Hot Gates of Thermopylae. The bed was comfortable, but the metal box platform it sits on makes a gong sound with the slightest movement. All that and there's a train and busy road 75 yards from your window. With these issues, the $130+ a night feels steep. The staff were decently accommodating considering the time that I pulled in and the time I needed a plunger. On a scale from one
Was here for one night and it a no frills place if you just need to sleep, shower, and shave. My room was clean and neat. Came with a fridge, microwave and iron. There are busy train tracks across the street. Really didn’t bother me but if you’re use to quiet suburbs, you won’t like them. They’re really not that bad. Horns blow at the crossings. Trains also don’t shake the place like in the movies. Windows vibrate and that’s it. Bring you train watching enthusiasts. They’ll love it.
The rooms were well-kept (only thing being that there was a dead cockroach which my Mom freaked out about) and the service was friendly. The wifi unfortunately did not work at all (I had the password but it said I was blocked from it.) As many people have pointed out, there is a train that is passing every two hours or so right next to the motel that is honking very loud so the night's sleep wasn't that relaxing given the comfortable beds.
