Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clovis-Fresno Area by IHG

Not terrible, but not great. They definitely have a roach/bug problem, at least on the first floor. I was greeted by one still kicking when I arrived and found more of them during my week long stay. A bit alarming and gross. I noticed some sticky bug traps under the old AC wall unit. Room smelled a bit damp/mildewy. Staff was friendly though. Breakfast was not as good as other locations, but the lady does a much better job than the gentleman in the mornings. The eggs were like soup. At least she put out the egg and cheese omelets. Potatoes were usually gone or lukewarm. No constant fan option for those of you who need a fan to sleep, they want to save the dime and make us suffer with the AC clicking on and off the whole night. We chose to stay at Clovis which is not far from Fresno, after visiting the Yosemite National park. This holiday inn express offers above average accommodation, and there is a nice Japanese restaurant nearby (Japanese Kitchen) where we had a lovely dinner. Bed and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast is nice. We didn’t get the chance to use the pool or spa. We only stayed one night as the next day we left for Bakersfield (en route visiting the Sequoia National Park). Overall it feels like a hotel for business travelers and it’s like a 3-star hotel.

Positive: The guy who oversees the breakfast area was very helpful. Negative: There was no shower vent which made the room humid. I was also traveling alone with my four children and the couch bed did not have linens. The front desk instructed me to come down to collect the linens, and make our own bed.

Stopped overnight due to heavy fog going north. Sabrina front desk was very helpful and rooms were very clean, service and location were excellent and safe respectively. Highly recommend this place! Comfortable night.

Was told it was an ADA Bathroom it wasn't slipped and fell and got kicked off the property because the front desk lady lied so if your handicapped you don't want to stay here they don't have handicap rooms for us in our wheelchairs and the lady Adriana is rude and lies then she has the cops escort you off the property and it wasn't even your fault it was her fault. Very thankful for the lady Sabrina who was helpful as I was being escorted off the property in my wheelchair. I'm only giving three stars because of Sabrina she was actually phenomenal in helping us even trying to find me another hotel that was Ada compatible for me in my wheelchair
