Best Western Clovis Cole

Positive: Located next to the venue were I was attending an event. Cute balcony and fireplace in the room. It has potential to be something nice. Negative: No soap in the bathroom. No towels we had to call for them. The drapes, carpet, upholstery and bedding are worn, dated and need to be updated.

Great hotel. The service here is very sweet and accommodating. The location is perfect, right in the middle of old downtown Clovis. Lots of shops on the streets surrounding it. The complimentary breakfast was great with so many options: eggs, gravy, sausage, potatoes, muffins, biscuits, toast, bagels cereals, granola bars, fruits, fruit cups, hard boiled eggs, waffle maker (with various toppings), juices, coffee, hot cocoa. The heated pool is a decent size, hot tub, and a workout room with equipment for all types of workouts. Huge parking lot, so plenty of parking spaces. The rooms are large and feature comfy beds, plenty of pillows, bathroom, dresser, tv, lots of lamps, table and chairs, closet space, end table. This location is one of my favorite Best Westerns when I have to work in Fresno. |The location is always clean, staff always friendly and there is plenty of parking. The best part is that you are walking distance to Old Town Clovis where you have several restaurants and Bars to chose from. Also I always feel safe walking around at night in old town Clovis.

Very disappointing stay. The bed had hair on it, the bathroom was not clean, and the shower leaked all over the floor. The biggest issue was that the door did not properly lock, which was a serious safety concern since I had thousands of dollars in work equipment with me for a week-long training trip. The parking lot felt unsafe, with intoxicated people coming over from a nearby bar. Breakfast was disgusting, the coffee was stale and from a machine, and rooms are not cleaned unless you specifically request it. Because of these issues, I had to have my work book me a different hotel for the rest of my stay. The only positive was that the front desk receptionist I spoke with briefly was polite.

Do NOT stay here unless you want to be ripped off! James is dishonest and sketchy. They made a mistake and over charged us but refused to make it right! They wouldn’t return my emails or my phone calls. HORRIBLE customer service. I would give a zero if I could. Complete embarrassment to have the Best Western name tarnished like they are doing, I would cut them loose if I were Corporate!!!
