Comfort Suites Clovis - Fresno

I spoke with Linda on the phone to confirm my reservation was correct and that I got assigned to the correct room. Linda assisted me and even helped us when we arrived to the hotel the following day and remembered our discussion! Very grateful for Linda and the entire team that made our visit so special!

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience, with a few drawbacks worth noting. The hotel itself is older — the carpet felt worn, and the overall decor could use some updating. The pull-out couch bed in our suite was also quite old and not very comfortable, though the main beds were great and provided a good night’s sleep. The suite was a good size, offering plenty of space, and the location is hard to beat — right in the heart of Old Town Clovis, which made it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and events. That convenience alone makes me likely to stay here again. The pool was technically usable, but it was very small and the water seemed cloudy with leaves floating in it — not the most inviting for a swim, especially for families or those looking to relax

Let me start off with the positive. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room was priced right. However, the room also had an odor that kind of smell like dirty feet, really not sure who is coming from the air conditioning unit, but maybe it was time to change the filter.. The carpet was extremely dirty and the desk chair was ripped and shredded. We put food in the refrigerator checked on it several hours later to find the food warm. Refrigerator was not working properly. Special thanks to Linda at the front desk who did her best to ameliorate the situation at check out.

I stayed here about three weeks ago, and the front desk agent her name was Selena, I believe was amazing. She was super sweet, fast, and efficient. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use some upgrades, but overall the stay was pleasant and the service really stood out.

Although I did have a reservation here mistakenly… I did not stay here. I was treated quite rudely over the phone. My husband had made the reservation for Clovis CA instead of Clovis NM. We knew via email we weren’t going to get our money back. It was his mistake and we were fine with it. I received a phone call at 12:18AM asking when I was going to be there. I kindly at first told the young lady “oh my husband made a mistake and made the reservation for the wrong state, she then asked again when I was going to be there. So I repeated myself and then she rudely stated “well the room is still going to be charged to the card on file” at which point I said “it said that in the email” My husband and I took it as a loss on his part totally understandable and we knew it.
