Ms. Evon and her staff were top notch. She is on her game! Had to stay a month, due to a fire at our apartment, and could not have picked a better place to stay. Very clean and organized. Staff were caring, friendly and accommodating . The breakfast was wonderful!! Fresh and hot every morning. The people running the breakfast cooked everything perfectly. Great choices on food. Fresh fruit everyday. Clean and delicious. They broke down everything and cleaned immediately. Kept the area clean throughout the whole service, and kept hot and cold foods stocked the entire service. Cleaning staff did great job . Working on a very routine schedule. everyday. Staff will give out any extras needed graciously upon request. They have regulars that stay, and you can tell they are treated well. The own

Room was hot and small. Running the air in a cool setting just made it feel damp. Dirty washcloth left in the shower. No bathmat and had to use towels. Wouldn’t have been bad except there were not enough towels to do this. Pool was awful - not ready for swimming. On a positive note the staff were nice at check in. No one was at the desk when we left.

This was our first time staying in Camden South Carolina. The air handling unit was extremely quiet! The temperature varied on our trip from the mid 70s one day into the low 30s the next which we had to use both heat and cool. The unit responded quickly, keeping our room at a constant temperature and you could barely hear the unit running. It was so nice! The bathroom was quite large. The water temperature would get as hot as you wanted it too with excellent water pressure! This hotel uses the pump style shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap, which seems to be common nowadays, and all the containers were full. We had a king size bed, and the sheets were not too heavy and kept you both warm and cool when you wanted.

Normally I don’t mind holiday inns but this one wasn’t the best. They are very friendly and I enjoyed their service though. They allowed early check in and had our room ready, which was conveniently on the first floor. The downsides were that bathtub was slow draining when we would shower and the towels are extremely small. The tv guide they provided wasn’t accurate, some channels on those lists couldn’t be found. Lastly their AC was leaking on the floor which we noticed at the end of the night and informed them upon check out the next morning. I like this one better than the Hampton Inn across the street but the only other downside was their gym was a TINY room and outdoor pool so couldn’t be used during winter time.

This hotel surprised me. It was exceptionally clean and maintained. The entire staff was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable, especially Yvonne at the front desk. Breakfast was above average for this hotel category, and I readily recommend this location. If I ever pass through this area in the future, I will select this hotel immediately.
