Holiday Inn Express & Suites Camarillo by IHG

Very happy with my stay here. In town to visit family and the staff, Sylvia and Robert, were very nice and helped with all my requests since I was staying multiple days. I asked for a room close to the elevator since I would be coming and going at odd hours and they immediately accommodated me. Several times I had to ask for more towels and toiletries and each time I received great service with a smile! I will definitely stay here again when visiting family.

The room/bathrooms are in need of some repair work. Our in room coffee maker didn't work either. If you are on the back side you do not hear the freeway traffic which is a plus. The morning breakfast was also pretty good for what it was. BUT if you have anyone above you, you can hear every step they make. I was below an elephant trying to get their 10,000 steps in for the day which went on until 11. Then they were up at 3 am. I personally would not stay here again.

It's cute when they don't think you comprehend Spanish. Glad they like to talk down individuals and assume ignorance. Twice I was approached hanging out in the "Great Room" and the lobby since there is literally nothing else to do especially within walking distance "look at the map for yourself" 12:40PM & 5:10PM Both times assuming I have no business being here or not a checked in guest. Guess next time I need to stick my card on my forehead. What's the point of sitting and lounge areas if you are going to get judged for using them. Trust me, I didn't choose this location by choice.

This hotel is literally the best one me and my husband has ever stayed at! Amazing service, the room was super clean and actually smelled so fresh and all furniture, towels and toiletries offered was brand new and cleaned to perfection..The breakfast was on itself outstanding and the pancake machine was incredible! Very quiet and very peaceful! We appreciated everything and will come back for sure. Thank you so much Holiday inn express. You outdid a lot of fellow places with an outstanding percentage!
