Holiday Inn Express & Suites Burley, an IHG Hotel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express on our way to visit family—and again on our way back—and both stays were outstanding. Shasta, Addi, and every single staff member were genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive, often approaching us just to check in and make sure we were comfortable. The hotel is spotless, well cared for, and thoughtfully run. We especially appreciated the 12 PM checkout and breakfast available until 10 AM—such a gift when traveling. While we didn’t use the pool or fitness room, everything we saw was exceptionally clean. Amazing customer service truly makes the difference, and based on this experience, we will absolutely prioritize staying at other hotels within this company, trusting we’ll receive the same level of care. Very grateful for such a wonderful stay. T

It's a beautiful facility and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved that the pillowcases had the firmness embroidered on them - several comfort levels to choose from. The TV was on with a personalized message welcoming me to the hotel. The amenities were great - a nice coffee maker with coffee & tea choices, a chaise lounge chair in the room with a small table that fit right up to it. I loved the design of the blackout roller shade in the room. The A/C heating element was quiet and easy to operate. The soap products in the bathroom were nice and plentiful, with various sizes of towels. I loved the marketing - the casual conversation tags to put on the door instead of the typical "do not disturb." The breakfast was delicious with so many options and a very cute small "

It was a little tricky getting to the hotel with it nestled near the freeway, but it was such an amazing stay! My highlights are the larger rooms (we had two queen and a queen couch bed), the indoor hot tub and pool so we could swim despite the cold, the free, hot breakfast (my kids thought the pancake machine was next level and I LOVED the crispy bacon), and the flexible times! Check out was NOON, and breakfast until 10 a.m. Getting my troops mobilized takes time so it was wonderful to not accidentally sleep through breakfast. Plus the staff was fantastic and helpful and they had hot cocoa and apple cider available rather than just coffee. Plus power strip by the head of the bed. It was lovely!

Positive: Even at checking in at 1:00am hotel employee at the front desk was very happy and welcoming. Negative: We only were there for 5 hours to sleep on a road trip.

I stayed overnight. One review mentioned hearing the highway noise. It was hard to fall asleep until I put in my earplugs. I always bring them just in case for that reason. The other disappointment with the room was that the wall USB outlets didn’t work. I always bring my charging station when I travel. Easily solvable but it was disappointing. The other reviews also mentioned the courteous staff for check in & the cleanliness of the rooms. Same here. It’s nice that they are typically consistent. One thing that appealed to me was the convenience of hwy access & food & gas. I skipped breakfast & found a McD about 3 blocks toward town. Also a gas station, Wendy’s & a local restaurant next to the hotel. Great location! I would stay again.
