Holiday Inn Express - Shenandoah Valley Woodstock, VA

The front desk employee requires a salary increase, as he is an excellent staff member. I am currently a hilton only guy, as I was initially considering the Hampton Inn, but the price was significantly higher. Consequently, I opted for the Holiday Inn. Following my interaction with the exceptional staff and my observation of my clean room, I have decided to exclusively use the Holiday Inn from now on. Hilton lost me forever after going to this hotel. Must stay place I travel alot this is amazing hotel clean clean clean

If I could I’d give this hotel 0 stars I would. My husband and I were on our way home to Florida when we decided to stop for the night in Woodstock VA. We decided to stay at the holiday inn express since it had pretty good reviews. The first night we were there it took 6 hours to even get the room to heat up. My husband thought he heard a mouse but he didn’t see one. We were on the third floor. The 2nd night we were eating dinner in our room. I went to the bathroom and when I came back to finish eating my dinner that’s when I saw the mouse running across the desk I was eating my dinner. I never grabbed all our stuff packed our bags so quickly. Of course my husband was no help since he has a phobia of mice. We went down to the front desk and told the girl about the mouse in our roo

I will never use this hotel again booked 2 handicap rooms 1 with 2 single beds. I checked in and the hotel suit that was twice as much but the hotel clerk on the phone said it was I’m in a wheelchair and the room was not handicap accessible so they made a mistake and the manager on the phone told me we had to leave. The reasoning. They didn’t give me one. But I paid for a room I couldn’t use. And the attitude displayed by the one desk guy young guy with dark hair and glasses was crazy towards my wife. I didn’t get that same attitude. They said it was booked through a 3rd party but we have the receipts. If you are disabled or you have family members who are don’t stay here.

The hotel and grounds were very clean and tidy, and the front desk staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They accomodated my service dog with a first floor room near an exit, and the room was not a "dog safe" room but a nice clean and comfortable room. The TV choices were really good and it was easy to navigate the channels. The shower was good, and the bathroom itself was clean. I will definitely stay here again!

Worst experience ever. I’m in a wheelchair the front desk guy told my wife. I was not there. That I could use the bathroom across the hall if I had to use the bathroom because our group got 3 rooms. I spoke with the fella about it because one of our rooms should have had two bed but it had one. I wouldn’t recommend anyone using this place. It is clean and the coffee is good. I spend at least 30 nights a year in hotel rooms. Not that it really matters but I am 100% disabled veteran due to me having MS and its service connected. No one should to talked to like that. I spoke to the manager and he told me to find another place to stay over the phone. I have never been disrespected before. Honestly they need to do better and the front desk guy I suggest some training
