Holiday Inn Express San Bernardino - Colton by IHG

We stayed here for three nights in a two queen bed room. Check-in was easy and straightforward, though there was a $200 deposit required in case of damages, which was much higher than I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. That said, the process itself was smooth. We ended up extending our stay an extra night because my daughter became extremely sick and couldn’t stop throwing up. The staff was incredibly accommodating and compassionate during that time. They removed and disposed of the soiled items without hesitation and consistently provided extra towels, toothbrushes, and shaving cream when we needed them. This place is our favorite place to go to when we need a short get away! It’s very clean and the breakfast is the bomb when Marciella is working! Marciella makes sure all the items are kept warm and well supplied! The staff when checking in: Kevin Ko, Taylor Besemer, Manual Ramirez, & Christina Christian are AWESOME!!! This hotel is so fortunate to have them!!! They are very professional, friendly, accommodating, and go out of their way to make sure you’re enjoying your stay! We always feel safe and our stay is always wonderful! The rooms are very clean! They always make sure towels are at the pool area and the fitness center is very adequate and very clean! The pool is warm and the hot tub is fabulous! This place is a slice of heaven… that is in-the middle of a hectic well traveled

Not bad for a one night stay, close to freeway, comfortable beds and clean rooms. Room is a bit dated but nice big TV, large mini fridge, lots of lights in the room, for the price. I would stay again. Thanks

It's a very great Holiday inn Express, however the locations left to be desired due to it being next to a freeway and in some sort of industrial park and a jack in the box for snacks and you need a car to go basically anywhere... It makes it up though for great service as well as a very interesting layout and a very big pool and spa as well as a great breakfast! The staff at the front is also very friendly too and can help you get any items that you may need! Some of the furniture may have a little bit of wear but that is to be expected for this price point. Despite the near freeway location, the windows are double paned and soundproofing is pretty nice. The flooring is also pretty solid too and never hear any upstairs or downstairs neighbors.

Carts. Let's talk about carts. They're these 4 wheeled devices that help folks take their luggage to their room. The staff of this hotel claims they have 2. On a 3 day stay, I only seen one the next morning. I mistakenly used it take the rest of my luggage to my room. I travel for work, so I bring quite a bit. That was the last time I saw a tote, and had to carry my totes to my truck. This happens at hotels from time to time. But this was the only time the staff wouldn't help track down a cart. Couldn't be bothered. Other than that, it is a gr8 hotel for the price.
