I stayed here while attending a conference across the street, and I was very happy with my stay. The front desk person was so helpful when I checked in! Then the room was clean and in good shape. The gym (there are 2!) was empty and the machines worked. The breakfast was well stocked and kept clean. The laundry room was also in good shape, and the front desk was able to get me quarters to use it. Overall a great hotel experience, and I would certainly stay here again!

We stayed here in August during our family road trip and really enjoyed our time. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a nice, relaxed feel to it. The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety, which we appreciated before hitting the road. The front desk staff were super nice and made everything easy for us. Overall, a great place to stay. We’d definitely come back.

I’m a loyal Holiday Inn Express guest, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. This location has cut corners in ways that fundamentally compromise the guest experience. The beds are unacceptably uncomfortable. I’m not exaggerating when I say these felt like the cheapest mattresses available. I think they bought them for $30 at Walmart. I woke up multiple times with numb shoulders and a sore back. In a hotel, the bed is everything—and these failed completely. The room setup is cheap. There’s one bedside table between two beds. One. Do they think only one person per room needs to charge their phone? It’s such an obvious corner-cut. Breakfast was shockingly poor. What’s normally a highlight of this chain was reduced to burnt eggs and toast. No exaggeration. That was the ent

Chavonne at the the front desk was amazing. She was kind and super helpful. The cleaning staff was amazing. Everything stayed super clean. I saw the cleaning staff constantly mopping the lobby floor and wiping the elevator doors. I’ve never seen a cleaning staff work so hard. Our room was super clean. Location was super convenient to everything. Town was safe and walkable (except for it being so cold). Uber comes in handy for keeping you warm as you move about SLC in the winter. Breakfast was really good with a large variety of everything you could need. There’s also a restaurant on site if you don’t want to go out in the cold. The pool and hot tub were very warm. The sauna was closed.

Positive: Attended a conference at the Hyatt Regency which was right across the street. Saved at least one night's cost for a room PLUS a very good breakfast. Very friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. Negative: Had a little difficulty with the business center printer. Staff was good to help get it working.
