Holiday Inn Express New York City-Wall Street, an IHG Hotel

Positive: Nothing absolutely nothing, I mean the way your website or app described the location, it was far from Times Square. Negative: Rooms too small considering the amount inpaid, no freeze (which was given later when we asked) and no microwave ( they could not arrange because hotel does not have it). Great location. Close to all key subway stations, allowing for quick access throughout Manhattan. In the morning, you can enjoy a morning jog along the entire waterfront of lower midtown and northern Manhattan. A very decent and filling breakfast is provided, lasting until the afternoon. The rooms are tidy, if a bit plain, but you wouldn't expect anything less at this price. Highly recommended.

My friend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in FiDi for a birthday weekend. It was a great value compared to other hotels in Manhattan and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the room type upon check in (we used Expedia, not booking directly) and the front desk agent, Destiny, helped us with obtaining a room with a sofa bed for the remainder of our stay. She was super kind and thoughtful throughout our stay and I truly think that the hotel has a star employee in her! We also had a slight problem with our toilet and she was able to fix the problem quickly and efficiently while we were out and about. Thanks, Destiny! You truly made our stay great. ||P.S. The pillows are quite nice!

Overall this was a great experience. Nikki (the lady at the counter) made my experience extra special, she had an amazing attitude the whole time and offered a lot of accommodations and recommendations when we needed it. The location of this hotel is also great. I was able to use multiple train stations nearby to arrive at the hotel late at night and during the day, which is specially important if you are visiting NYC. The traffic can be ridiculous so being able to take the train to avoid it is extremely helpful. The place was clean and well maintained, except one night when the elevator wasn't working for 45 minutes! Breakfast is a money saver though don't expect anything fancy. I was able to eat oatmeal as a healthy option.

We got a good deal on this hotel booking via Booking.com We’re a family of 4 and got the double room with two double beds. The room is extremely cramped, having two beds in the room leaves no space to walk around. There is also limited storage space for bags, coats and suitcases. The room is dark too, very little room lighting. On another note, the staff were brilliant. Kim at the reception is bubbly, helpful and very friendly. She really made our stay pleasant. The breakfast was ok, repetitive with not too many choices. The breakfast staff were also very helpful, sadly, didn’t get their names. All in all a great option with the subway lines close by.
