Holiday Inn Express Fairhope-Point Clear by IHG

Best Local Pet friendly hotel in town. The Dog park is a 5 minute drive. Plenty of safe dog walk area. Breakfast Doggie bag made my stay 🐶 The Staff all have such pleasant vibes and made all hotel guests welcome: Marlen, Felicia, Phillip, Housekeeping!!!! I recommend this hotel and will be back! And when I continue to travel with my pup around America, IHGs will be at the forefront.

Positive: Location Negative: It’s seems this property is always under construction. I understand the importance of keeping up but this has gone on for a while. I also think when booking a hotel it should be stated that the property is under construction.

Stayed 4 nights to visit nearby family. We hoped to enjoy the pool during our stay, but the water in the pool was warm and dirty. It didn’t appear to have good circulation or being filtered properly. The water had a film of dirt and grime floating on top of the water surface . My kids didn’t want to swim after the first day. |The room was fairly decent and breakfast area was nice. The parking lot was extremely busy and lacked parking space due to cargo boxes taking up parking spaces. |Overall we would stay there again if the need arises, but it could use some help in a few areas.

Marland checked me in and he was SO VERY KIND AND ACCOMMODATING!!¡ Our room was excellent! We had a kingsize suite and having the desk and chair in the adjacent area was perfect! The continental breakfast was excellent! They offer a variety of choices to choose from. We look forward to coming back soon!

Booked off of Booking.com and selected PAY AT PROPERTY. They attempted to charge the card on the reservation at 11am but we had got a new card and the expo date was different so it did not process. Card should not have been processed at all until we checked in. We always book through booking and pay at the property and no other hotel has ever done this before. When my husband noticed the charge decline he called the front desk and said we would pay when we arrive at the property. Apparently because the card did not process at 11 when we arrived at 5:15 the font desk canceled our original room. The lady at the front desk pulled a paper out of the trash can and written on it was our reservation and said cancel at 5pm. She said we can still get a room but our original king bed room was not av
