Holiday Inn Club Vacations Tahoe Ridge Resort

We usually stay on the CA side to ski Heavenly but decided to try the resort. We decided to get one of the smaller rooms and it was ok, a typical Holiday Inn room. We appreciated the parking garage in the basement of the building and the staff was great. There is a very limited market in the clubhouse and a nice fitness room. The room was a little warm but the ceiling fan was helpful. We had no issues with the WiFi. There is a tram and a shuttle that gets you to the Stagecoach chairlift. You cannot walk there yourself. I highly recommend participating in the snowshoeing activity. Jeff was a great guide.

After reading lots of negative reviews, I was worried my room not meeting our expectations. I booked a two bedroom villa. I was pleasantly surprised upon check in that we got our suite in the Ridge Pointe building. The two bedroom villa is a one bedroom suite with full kitchen and a studio combined. The rooms are renovated with a fireplace and washer/dryer in unit. Bathroom toiletries are decent quality Dove products. The balcony overlook the mountain and ski runs. The views are fantastic. Location is wonderful too. It's 2 minute drive to Stagecoach lift or a 10 minute downhill walk. We didn't need to use the shuttle service. We used the sauna and pool table in the building and enjoyed them too. Service was great when we requested additional blankets. Overall we had a perfect stay because

We reserved a 2BD/BR Condo in one of the Naegle buildings. We were fortunate to have one of the top-floor units with several spectacular views-view of the snow covered mountains, view of the Nevada cities and mountain range east and frosty forests. The unit is veru spacious, comfortable, and warm. The balcony is massive and a lot of snow piled up on it, allowing the kids to build snowmen and fortresses while we (parents) stayed warm inside. This really was one of the best units we have stayed in part of the RCI or Hilton exchange timeshares. Something to note, the resort is at the very top of a mountain and if you come during winter, be prepared with proper tires, food, and powerbanks. Positive: The check in staff was friendly Negative: Door not aligned very loud when open-close, no kitchen utensils, refrigerator broken, Blinds broken difficult to open window very hot with no A/C! Electrical outlets near bed did not work. Not up to Holiday Inn Standards. Will never stay again.

Location was nice. Room was very clean and well equipped. But hotel felt quite old. Hot water and fireplace was out for 4 hours (but was fixed). Door to garage was broken, therefore garage access was limited. Very noise during the nights. Looks like big compressors were running. Hot tub, indoor pool was not as cosy as I expected them to be.
