Heavenly Stagecoach Lodge

I really love the drive up there and the place is absolutely beautiful

My family loves Heavenly. We get Epic passes every year and come pretty much every other weekend. There are zillions of runs for every level, from "I can do most of the blues without total panic" to black and double black for my wife and stepson. The people are really nice, too. My only complaint is that I wish the trails were marked a bit better, and that they made the steps up from the parking lots better for those of us who don't just run up slippery slopes in ski boots. Those two things would make it 5 stars.

For the price of their lift tickets they keep a pretty disheveled operation. Arriving at resort opening on a weekday to find the bathrooms devoid of toilet paper and dirty is unacceptable for a high end ski resort. The mountain itself was fantastic and I had a great time.

If you're looking forward to being as crowded as you are in the city on a ski hill (on a Tuesday) look no further! There seems to be a sewage issue at Tamarack and it smells so bad in the lodge. Oh wait! Someone pooped on the floor hours ago or days.... Why is that not cleaned up? Seriously people. Gross. I've also noticed that the fries they sell are much smaller portions for a higher price. Overall, I would have to say, well done Tom Fortune. Heavenly has never been worse. Worse opening times, lift holds and general issues under your management. Kudos! #Shareholders first

Heavenly is a large resort but it is not suited for a beginner. This mountain is an advanced mountain as it has steep hills and flat (or uphill) trails that connect you to different parts of the mountain. The views are stunning! Just be prepared for what you are getting into ;)
