We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Scottsdale Resort. The rooms were very spacious and we loved the layout, which worked perfectly for our family. The resort has four pools (including a 21+ pool), so there were plenty of options whether we wanted family fun or a quieter atmosphere. Our kids especially loved the arcade room and the activities offered throughout the week. One of their favorite memories was tie-dyeing shirts and getting to pick out their own designs afterward. The activities coordinator was incredibly sweet and accommodating, which made the experience even better for the kids. The staff overall were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Between the great amenities, family-friendly activities, and comfortable rooms, it was a fant
This resort appeals to all ages. The art activities in the arcade centre are ongoing for a small fee. We used all three heated pools interchangeably; two of them had hot tubs. |Regarding location of units: Call in advance and put in your request. We asked for ground floor and got it but it’s not guaranteed. Sixteen steps up to top floor.|The timeshare sharks will definitely seek you out; we never answered our phone that rang only once a day for the week we were here.|The spacious two bedroom had a king, 2 doubles and a queen pullout, perfect for 6. I agree with other reviewer, that the double beds would not be comfortable for a couple.|I highly recommend this resort and would definitely return.
We love this resort and will continue to return!! This was our third time staying at the Holiday Inn Club Scottsdale and our family of four had a very fun, yet relaxing trip. We love having the four different pool options plus water slides! With all of these options, it never feels too busy or overcrowded. The on-site restaurant is extremely convenient and we were provided with excellent service (big props to Anthony and Fatima!). The entire staff at this resort from the front desk staff, housekeeping, maintenance, amd lifeguards were friendly, hospitable and go above and beyond. Our only recommendation would be to not place a family with children (ages 13 and 6) in the villas in the adults only section. This was not a deal breaker for us but even walking out of the room with kids seemed
The hotel was nice and clean. Would love if it had an elevator. It felt a little bit empty and only one restaurant. Marissa, the person we met working in the restaurant was amazing. we were drinking mocktails and she was adding herbs and told us that Rosemary went with grapefruit and it was cool they grew rosemary on the resort! The pools were nice, but the hot tub wasn’t hot enough. The area was a little bit quiet. We enjoyed hiking in a little bit of time downtown, but most of the things we were interested in were in Sedona or further.
We had a 3-bedroom suite and it was a good size and had everything we needed during our 5 day stay in the Phoenix area. The furniture and decor were a bit dated (circa 2010's), but not a deal breaker. The stay was somewhat unremarkeable except for two issues - the check in process and the on-site restaurant. First, the check-in was an absolute nightmare. Trey at the vacation desk held my room keys and parking pass hostage to force a timeshare pitch on me. Even after I declined three times, he claimed he couldn't give me my keys until I listened to his presentation. Extremely disrespectful of my time and a terrible first impression of the resort. We gave the hotel restaurant a chance despite poor reviews, but quickly regretted it. For a party of six in an empty restaurant, the service was
