Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort, an IHG Hotel

It’s a nice property and has some great amenities, but it was eclipsed by our dreadful check-in experience. We were caught in traffic for three hours, while our ill/elderly in-laws arrived on time They were both registered on the reservation and attempted to check in, but were refused entry. The only advice given at the front desk was for our in-laws to remain in the car and wait 3 hours after their lengthy journey until I personally arrived. I contacted the resort and tried to provide my payment details over the phone, but they declined to accept them. I requested a secure payment link or a credit card authorization form, and they informed me that such options were not available. We had an amazing stay at this resort! There were endless activities throughout the day to keep the whole family entertained—multiple pools, water slides, a lazy river, scavenger hunts, and games galore. We did not golf but there are a number of golf courses within this property as well as having the option to rent power boats, jetskis, etc. Our family was so happy with everything happening on-site, we didn’t even need to take them to Disney or Universal! The Fun Zone added extra activities such as a 500' water slide, zip line, air jumping, etc. The resort offers several dining options, though it’s worth noting that some spots close by 4:00 pm. It's also super convenient being right next to a Publix, which had everything we needed, from groceries to sunscreen. And the poolside bars serve

We have been to Orange Lake many times in the past 10 years. The rules are always clean, the resort always tidy and well kept. Sometimes the check-in process can have long waiting lines. I appreciate it being able to order packages to the resort and pick them up. Pause, especially on the cool days. If I needed something in my room, the service has been prompt.

We recently stayed in a 2bd/2ba villa here and I cannot speak highly enough about it. I will say, from the outside look, I thought it was going to be dated, but it was not. Beds were comfy. I loved having a full kitchen and full sized washer/dryer. I loved being able to do my laundry before I went home. We didn't get to use much of the resort as we were there for Disney, but I've heard great things about the pool area and we can't wait to return. Loved being close to so many eating establishments and we had the convenience of a walgreens just across one of the entrances. Felt very safe and was quiet, with the exception of hearing something on our first night and then realized it was Disney's fireworks. We couldn't see them, but they were done and we were off to sleep just after.

THE BEST VACATION SPOT! Spent a week here just after Christmas to after new years and I would definitely do it all over again! Hotel was clean, pools and restaurants were in great shape. Rooms were very clean, lots of space as well. All the activities they have around the resort are a amazing. Hot tub, pickle ball, basketball, tennis, golf and LAZY RIVER are fantastic, even loved it as an adult! They through a New Years party which was so much fun, even tho it was very cold that day and night it was still a blast! Definitely make sure you spend enough time at lazy River, so fun for adults and kids. If you’re a pop lover definitely worth buying the All you can drink cup, you can fill it up everywhere all over the resort, definitely worth the buy! I would definitely recommend this resort
