Holiday Inn Chicago NW Crystal Lake Conv Ctr by IHG

My wife and I love staying there for our anniversary because it's close to home but that's just a perk. Everything from the front desk staff, bartenders, wait staff, cooks and housekeeping really go above and beyond to make your stay and their hotel top notch!! They take care in great detail to special requests such as flowers I ordered delivered to my room and even went the extra yard to set them up so nicely so when we walked into the room my wife's face lit up!! The whirlpool sweet is amazing and the hotel lobby, bar and restaurant is amazing!! They keep everything clean and always very professional and courteous. They kept in contact throughout the stay to make sure we were being taken care of or if we needed anything. We can't thank them enough!!

This HI has become a staple when we are back in town to visit family. Rooms and lobby have always been very clean, with comfortable beds and ample hot water. Staff at the front desk are very nice and well organized. The pool and pool area have always been well kept. Pool has run on the cool side but it's refreshing in the summer. The bar area is great, good menu, good bartenders and reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend staying here over your in-laws

During a quick trip to the area, we reserved a few nights here. After exhausting days out, the fitness center and pool were a pleasant bonus. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean every day, and everything seemed well-maintained.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this Holiday Inn is not a standard suburban hotel. The property is huge, spread out over a scenic area that feels calm and resort-like. Natasza at the front desk welcomed us warmly and took the time to explain where everything was located, which helped a lot given the size of the property. The indoor pool was enormous and spotless, and the entire stay felt upscale and relaxed.

It was worth upgrading to a room with a large jet tub. Sitting in it was very relaxing. Word to the wise: watch out for the ceiling, which is low and has sharp edges in some places. The bed was very comfortable and we got a solid night's sleep. There was some noise in the room next door, so the walls aren't SO thick, but it went away over time. Next time, we'll go to the restaurant and bar, both of which looked very welcoming. Good check-in experience and parking. The shower is just sufficient, as the warm water (not low flow, but lower than we're used to) only partially offset the cool air in the bathroom. There aren't that many hotels in the area, so I was glad this one was so nice.
