Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Crystal Lake, IL

I stayed here for a three-day business trip and found the overall management quite structured. The front desk completed my check-in within fifteen minutes despite a busy lobby. My room was clean and properly ventilated. When I requested ironing service, it was delivered within the stated timeframe.

The hotel was amazing! The staff was so accommodating. Stayed for my daughter’s birthday. Did not expect such a big breakfast spread the next morning. Rooms were great!

They allowed early check in. It was clean, plenty of 120v outlets, plenty of towels, and a small refrigerator with a small freeze compartment. Lighting by the bed and in the bathroom were good but the one by the couch was not very good for reading. It was a 3 way lamp but only had one setting, dim bulb. The elevator access was very different. You must turn a right angle into a small room then a quick right angle into the elevator. I've never seen one like it.

I give this 3'Star hotel a 4 star rating. Sure its missing things if you compare it to a 4 or 5 Star and I had to grab my own breakfast elsewhere because the eggs were not good at all and I wanted bacon instead of sausage so that's the reason a 4. The hotel was clean and quiet and had a mini fridge, mw and coffee maker which were all just what I needed. The maid service was helpful and kind, and Heim at front desk and Justen the Manager were very helpful, professional and just nice people. They both had helped me when my booking company failed to send my extension booking through which added stress I didn't need. I am definitely returning. Thank you all.

Do not stay here. Idk how these reviews are high for this hotel, maybe they are paid for? Our room smelt musty and the air quality was bad… The bed headboard had an unknown substance on it. Our shower had an old bar of soap left behind with pube hairs on it. The hot tub was lukewarm and the pool was ice cold. The heaters were intentionally shut off on both. Not to mention the hot tub had way too many chemicals in it and when turned on you could not see the water clarity anymore. Both pools looked gross also on the bottom. I would stay somewhere else.
