Holiday Inn Anderson by IHG

Stayed for a few days while in town visiting family for Thanksgiving. Location was great, as it was near everything. Customer service was great, ladies were really nice. My biggest issue was walking into the room and the floors being sticky. At first, I was questioning whether I wanted to stay or not but instead, I took some cleaning stuff from my moms house and cleaned the tile areas. I just made sure we didnt walk around barefoot. Everything else was clean. Bathrooms a little small compared to other facilities but this is an older building that has been updated. Breakfast was $15/person, so we passed on that. First Holiday Inn I have been to without the free breakfast. This location is fair and conveniently located within town.

Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast was above and beyond what we expected. Eve was super helpful and ensured we had a clean space to prepare our meal and eat and everything we needed to fully enjoy our breakfast. Julia and Didi prepared a delicious meal where especially the potatoes stood out. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

DIRTY. Floors were filthy as in not even looked at, much less vacuumed. Disgusting debris collected on feet that was noticed when climbed up into the bed. Wrappers, used tissues, skittles on the floor. Bathroom was sticky, a big spill occurred on the counter and dripped on to the floor. Bathroom floor had dirt and hair throughout. Pink and black mold in the bathroom shower. Toilet took awhile to flush. AC cover was broken and unable to close, exposing the mold inside. When the AC kicked on in the middle of the night it made a loud horrible sound waking everyone up, and took awhile to shut off despite it being turned off from the thermostat. We had no choice to stay as they were fully booked. Breakfast was good and attendant was friendly.

Had an excellent stay at this hotel! Everyone that worked there was so nice and helpful! Breakfast was great! We never had dinner or drinks. Our room was clean, new, and comfortable. The hotel was beautiful and had everything we needed!

This place is great and fairly priced. The rooms are clean and there are lots of common areas if you are travelling in a group or meeting friends. The gym was clean and quiet and the breakfast was much better than most. The breakfast included real eggs, thick slices of crunchy bacon, strong coffee and super friendly helpers who kept pouring coffee refills and clearing dishes.
