Holiday House Palm Springs

Beautiful property, a true treat for lovers of mid-century modern style. Clean, carefully curated rooms with incredible showers. The breakfast included in the resort fee is fresh, convenient and ready early, which was great for us. The pool area is straight out of a postcard with perfect mountain views and excellent poolside food. The location is ideal, and we were able to walk to all of our dinner reservations. We loved our stay here!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Holiday House! Just Fantastic. Very well located for walking to many venues as we attended numerous events around the Palm Springs Intl. Film Festival. Lots of great restaurants nearby as well. The hotel breakfast was perfect to start the day, good coffee and great service. The hotel is quite specific about cleaning and linen changing and there is a door hanger that you can request service prior to the weekly change, if you are staying more than a few nights. The pool’s temperature is perfect for even a cloudy day swim, which it was. The property is well taken care of and loved all the art and books all over, including in your room; very well curated. I made a reservation months in advance, upgrading to a "good room." I called a few days on advance asking for a quiet room on a top floor since I'm noise sensitive. They assured me that they'd do their best to accommodate. Upon check in a reiterated my request for a quiet room. The room I received was on the bottom level between the lobby and the gift shop - a high traffic area. We heard footsteps from the floor above, too. Disappointing

I don't review often, unless really good or really bad. This was REALLY good! Stayed here for 3 nights recently and left very happy. The rooms, especially the 2nd floor rooms (like ours, with their amazing views) are fantastic. The whole hotel is like a little mini-resort with the ultra-bonus of being very CALM AND QUIET, yet still being mere steps to downtown. All the little touches and amenities were great, and the staff were super-friendly and accommodating. Definitely will live on our short list of places to stay next time we visit. Waking up in those comfy beds to that view of the mountains... hard to beat.

Holiday house is such a charming property, one that checked all the boxes for our first stay in Palm Springs! Great location within walking distance of everything in downtown PS, as well as hiking trails! Wonderful staff, fun and stylish decor, great breakfast, fun restaurant, super cute and spacious rooms, relaxing pool and hot tub, and free parking!!! If I forgot anything, believe me Rosemary and her staff had it covered. We will definitely be back as soon as we can, and next time for a longer stay!
