Horrible church camp! Wouldn’t allow my daughter go to the bathroom during “horizontal time” (which is where they make your children lay in bed for any hour) or worship and made her hold it for an hour to the point of her fearing she was going to pee her pants and she’s 11. They don’t allow the children to call home at all for this exact reason. They don’t want the kids to tell their parents about what really goes on at camp. All of my kids clothes got wet and mildewed the first day of camp and wouldn’t allow her to wash her clothes, even though washers and dryers are on the camp site and there and plenty of them; stating- “only counselors and junior counselors are allowed to use the washers” even though it was an emergency. Amazing facilities, and some great folks to work with. We brought youth from several churches together here and we had a phenomenal experience.
