Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg

Nice location and distance to the local attractions. We stayed as 6 in a 2 bedroom suite. We had a bump out with a sofa bed that needed to be used, but unfortunately, it was like sleeping outside. The porch area had no heat at all pumping in and was freezing. It made for an uncomfortable trip as we were one bed short due to the cold. The unit was otherwise ok, had enough supplies for our 3 night stay. We did like being on the first level, however, it was very noisy as the people above us seemed to arrive at 2am and spent 1.5 hours unpacking. We share a main exit door that was slamming non stop. ||In all, 3 out of 5 stars. We have stayed at this location one previous time and it was fabulous. However, this most recent time definitely left A LOT to be desired! After I checked in, they basically blocked the door telling me I couldn't leave until I went to the concierge to talk to them about their timeshare talk about bullying tactics. First thing we noticed in the room the lamp on the side closest to the bathroom would not work unless you are asleep and then it would flicker. Don't think about using the dresser. The drawers will just automatically open for you especially when you're walking by and don't want them to. Then the hook on the back of the bathroom door is falling off along with the bathroom light fixture falling off of the wall barely holding on by its wires. And don't be anything over 5'5 when you

Positive: The shower was phenomenal! The room was awesome! Negative: We have stayed here twice and each time had trouble finding our room. I think the street signs and building numbers need to be bigger and clearer.

The rooms were spacious each with it's own bathroom. The facility had plenty to do and numerous activities. And it is close to everything. Like Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. I would recommend this to anyone.

We had a lovely 2 bedroom/2 bathroom first floor unit. I believe it could sleep 7-8 guests with a sleeper sofa in the living room and a sleeper loveseat in an unexpected den (unheated?). The hall bathroom was smallish with a very nice, large, tile/glass shower. The primary bedroom had a tub/shower combo. Kitchen and appliances were nice. If you plan to cook meals from “scratch “, then you may wish to take along (if driving trip) your baking pans, dry measuring cups, small and medium pots and casserole dishes. I believe that since this area has so many nearby restaurants, that most guests don’t do major cooking. We usually ate late lunch at a restaurant (Food for Thought was a favorite!) and then reheated homemade soups/chili in the cold, dark evening.||Our arrival was stressful … Check in
