I enjoyed my stay during the recent blizzard. The front desk staff were courteous and professional, and my room was clean. I do wish the gym was open but it was being renovated. One particularly memorable experience was dining at The Vig. I visited during a peak rush period, as many guests were unable to leave due to the storm. Even under these challenging circumstances, Tyler and Patty provided exceptional service. I would also like to recognize Jayquan from the maintenance team, who stepped in to assist during the rush. His willingness to support the restaurant staff demonstrated teamwork and dedication. I will absolutely book this hotel again in the future!
Pros: The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious, and interestingly, it worked like a regular restaurant where you get a bill and hand over the voucher you received at check-in. The location was great.Cons: They said construction noise would only continue until 5 PM, but I heard several loud, machine-like noises well past 8 PM. I almost asked to change rooms, but the noise eventually died down so I let it go. Also, there were two bottles of water in the room, but unless you’re a Hilton Silver member or above, they charge $3 each. If I had other options, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
Overall really mid experience. There is no pool, free breakfast. Our friend lost their wallet to room service. Some of our rooms didn’t have AC. Everything was under construction, but I mean EVERYTHING. Only one (very small) elevator was open. And that broke the last day. We were trying to go down to check out and a family and 4 little girls were stuck on the elevator for around 20 minutes. The had to use two crow bars to open it. I know I am mentioning everything bad but overall if you need to stay one night fine. But I do not suggest giving this hotel money until they do better. Sorry for anyone who books a room.
DO NOT stay at this hotel. When we arrived on Friday there was one working elevator. AC was not working properly and took 4 calls to the front desk for the GM to come fix it the next day after not sleeping all night because it was 74 degrees. Broken handles on the closet. Mold in the bathroom Sunday we had to carry our bags down 6 flights of stairs because the last elevator broke. One of the rooms in our group had no top safety lock and we got attitude from staff when we asked to have one installed. GM did finally fix the air and was nice but overall the staff was horrible I got an eye roll and attitude from the front desk when I asked what the corporate number was because the stay was so horrible. The first woman told me “there is none you can only called the GM”. When we tried
This was the worst hotel and customer service experience I have ever had. My wallet was stolen with my cards, ID, and insurance. When I raised my issue to 5 separate staff members, they expressed no concern and were incredibly unhelpful. Their communication across departments was absolutely horrendous. I was given different information about the status of my request from day to day. Any time I wanted progress or an update, I had to visit the front desk myself and ask. They told me on 5 separate occasions that they would call me with an update at a certain time. I NEVER received a single call from them. On top of this, I received no compensation for my stolen wallet, no discount on my stay, etc. They also said they have “never received a complaint in 10 years”, but I overheard at least 5 se
