Hilton Palm Springs

Our second visit and it was great. The service is amazing, the staff are friendly and the rooms are completely comfortable. The grounds/landscaping around the pool are impressive and always tidy. The location is super convenient. The hotel restaurant serves up a reliable, good quality breakfast with excellent service, but prices are a bit steep. The hotel is a bit dated but it’s also updated - and it has charm! A retro vibe, not too fancy, perfect for us.

The best things this hotel has to offer are the location and views of the mountains. We had room #315 which was top floor corner with a beautiful view of the mountains. It was quiet and very clean. The hotel is within walking distance of the center of town. ||I am a Hilton Gold member, and they did recognize that upon our arrival. ||My issues with the hotel were the exorbitant daily parking fees to park within the perimeter of the hotel while there was ample free safe parking on the streets immediately next to and surrounding the hotel ||Also, the service at breakfast was spotty and very expensive for what you received. Honestly even if you get food vouchers for your Gold Membership it is better to go out to any of the very numerous and good breakfast spots nearby. You will actually save m

Every staff we met were polite and helpful. The exterior of the hotel looks a bit aged but the interior were well maintained and managed. Our room was very clean and nice. We are quite sure that we will be back soon!

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the Hilton Palm Springs, located at 400 E Tahquitz Canyon Way. First, I had reserved a cabana by the pool in advance. However, when I arrived, it was already occupied by others, and the sheets were visibly dirty. No staff intervened or addressed the situation until I personally brought it to the front desk’s attention. After a long wait, someone brought a replacement sheet—but it was also dirty and carelessly thrown on. It wasn’t until I insisted at the front desk that I was finally offered a proper, clean cabana. Surprisingly I had a very pleasant stay at Hilton Palm Springs. Yes it’s overall outdated especially the exteriors like what other reviewers said, but I found the interior to be better than what I expected - renovated bathroom, spacious indoor space with very comfortable mid century style lounge chairs and the property is super close to DTPS (two blocks away). I have a Hilton Diamond status so we had a free room upgrade to the Alcove room and $15 F&B credit/person. I would describe the hotel as an older residence inn without kitchen. We were lucky and got a really good nightly rate but I could understand where the frustration comes from if you have to pay closely to $400/night.
