We absolutely loved our room on the 41st floor. A large room with a gorgeous view. Very clean. Our room was also cleaned daily. We were able to check in online and use digital key. That was a nice time saver. Close to the subway, Times Square, and Broadway. I would definitely stay here again. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because no one would ever answer the phone at the front desk. We had some issues before arriving and always got a recording and no call back. Called several times. Also, keep in mind the hotel charges $100 per night you stay for incidentals. Of course, you get it back, but that's a chunk of money.
We stayed at the hotel over Christmas for a day and it was the most pleasant experience. All of the staff members were incredible and the room was beautiful. Raquel checked us in and got us an early check in, so we were able to unwind before our matinee. I also told her we were visiting for my partners birthday, and she sent up a slice of cheesecake, a chocolate Empire State Building and a birthday card. Her service was simply the best I have encountered in my many hotel stays in NYC. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home and she made sure this is where we will be staying on our theatre trips. Thank you for everything, Raquel!!!
This was the second time staying here. They do a really great job. This last visit, we had two rooms. One with a view of the empire state building and the other facing north. Great views. Valet is a little spendy, but in the end, it was worth it. We had a great time. Great location, good service.
The location and pillows are fabulous. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was a decent size with a desk area, mini fridge and coffee maker. The hotel seems very secure with extra layers of security to make sure only guests access the elevators to the rooms. The food selection (room service) is lacking. The breakfast buffet was $49 pp so we passed on that and opted for the numerous restaurants nearby. 'Room service' comes from the market in the hotel and is not fresh, made to order restaurant type food...more like 7 11 food and way over priced. The bar was a comfortable and friendly place to relax. Drink prices are a bit above average for the area with cocktails ranging from $18-24 and beer about $10. A small cup of plain drip coffee is $6. Our Hilton market store breakf
Positive: The location. Negative: The room was dated. The bathroom handle fell off, the mattress was hard, and the drapes were in rough shape. The staff was always very friendly, but let’s be honest, the reason this hotel is rated so highly is location alone. I wouldn’t stay here again.
