Hilton Garden Inn Westbury

Hotel is extremely outdated. Ripped and stained chairs in the lobby, old faded carpets, rooms smell like mildew, cigarettes and weed. Safety is non existent. The area seems ghetto/trashy and while staying here, an intoxicated man came into the lobby, sat down, and wet himself. Police were called but the clean up after he left wasn’t thorough. Elevators reminded us of the Disney Tower of Terror ride where they are so rickety and old, you never know when you’re going to plummet to your death. The rooms near us had extremely rowdy guests that came in at midnight and then left at 5am each night yelling and talking loudly. No sleep for us. The only reason I rated two stars and not one is because the shower pressure is solid and they allow pets. Other than that - hotel needs to be fully redone a

Positive: Close to family. Negative: Spent 4 nights, never got clean towels. 1 elevator was not working. Sunday night strong swell of French fries & Monday morning terrible fish swell in the elevator.

I specifically reserved a king room with a walk in shower, which I always do due to a partial disability. I was told none were available upon arrival, and even though one front desk representative personally spoke to a manager, no offer of a change of rooms or any other suitable compensación was offered. This despite a posted sign outside of the elevators that satisfaction was guaranteed. The manager never even spoke to me directly.

A good value hotel. The elevators and lobby were a bit dirty. The hallways and rooms appeared to have new carpeting and smelled very new. Chelsea at the front desk was super nice and helpful.

We traveled here for our son to visit Hofstra University. It happened to be the weekend of the blizzard (We are still snowed in here) and I have to say we travel all the time and this hotel made sure we were comfortable, warm and had hot meals. To see the staff and even the manager come together as a team shows at a time like this they stick together. We will be using this hotel for the next four years since our son will be attending Hofstra University. Thank you everyone and see you in August… Alabama Family..
